Problem Statement
Design a robot that can traverse through most of the rough terrains.

RULES:
1. The maximum number of participants allowed in a team is 4.
2. The teams that are qualified in the qualifying round will get the participation certificates.
3. No pre assembled gear drives or mechanisms can be used. All these mechanisms have to be made by the participants themselves.
4. Any action against fair play will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. In all cases the decision of Coordinators will be final.
6. Argument with the coordinators may lead to disqualification of the team. All the teams must abide by the coordinators instructions.
7. No comparison with the others robot is allowed.
8. The robot which exceeds the given dimensions will be disqualified or penalized.
9. A player cannot play in two teams.
10. Only 2 players can be near the operation of the robot. The second player is only to hold the wire from damaging the arena or to prevent the wire from getting stuck to their robot.
11.The wire should be slack at any point of the game.
12. If any problem arises the participant is allowed to touch the robot only once in each round. A time of 5minutes will be given for repair. He will be disqualified if he does not place his robot after 5minutes.
13.A team can give a maximum of 1 attempt.
14.Points will be given based on the time taken to clear the arena.

    Robot Specifications:

    The robot can have a maximum dimension of:

    Length : 25cm
    Breadth: 25cms
    Height : no constraint
    Weight : No restrictions
    The Robot can be wired or wireless or autonomous.
    The wheels or legs of the robot can be of any design.
    Special attractive prizes for simple,unique design.

    Voltage:
    The voltage source need not be onboard,as per participants requirements and should not exceed 15V.
    Note: A tolerance of 5% is allowed in the above mentioned parameters, taking into consideration the error of the measuring instruments that we use here and those used by the participants in the making of the robot. The relaxation is scientific and tolerable.

    Qualifying round:
    In this round the participant’s robot has to cross different terrains . Once the robot crosses the terrains, it is clear that the robot is eligible for the final round.
    Task:
    • This zone has three terrains.
    • First it has speed breakers followed by a greasy path.
    • Then there will be sand path followed by it.

    Final round:
    Just wait for a challenging drive through the terrains of various types. The track would be revealed at the time of the event.

    JUDGING CRITERIA:
    • The team will not be qualified once it completes the 3 paths of terrain. There will be a cut-off time for moving into the final round, which would be announced at the time of the event.
